Another reason: The Nats need something to intimidate other teams, like Dog the Bounty Hunter randomly running onto the field and macing the other pitcher… o.k. maybe not, but still we need the intimidation

On a side note, Bowden continues to stalk the Reds like a psycho ex-girlfriend. The pitcher they got in the rule 5…Terrell Young…was in the Reds farm system.
